Prayer is our Posture

As a church, our third value is that prayer is our posture. By this, we mean that we want to approach everything from a place of prayer because we don’t want to do anything unless God is in it.

The vision for Rock City was started in prayer and will be sustained by prayer. We desire that this would be a place and a community of people who would not cease praying because we know that God moves when his people pray, and we want to be part of a movement of God, unlike anything Denver has ever experienced before.

We are on a mission to be a church where people encounter Jesus, find community, and live out their purpose –– and that won’t happen unless God’s people pray.

We are praying that Rock City Church would be a place where…

• People encounter the presence of God and are transformed by his spirit.

• People are embraced in community, regardless of their background.

• People discover the unique purpose and spiritual gifts God has given them.

• People experience supernatural healing –– physically, emotionally and relationally.
